There's a traditional restaurant in Alsace near to Mulhouse where you can have a freshly tapped beer at the bar in nice company with your friends (of course an Alsatian beer), good white wine from the Route des Vins and enjoy the blooming geraniums on a generous terrace during summer.
Only 5 minutes from Mulhouse and Sausheim you'll find our Restaurant au Cheval Blanc in Baldersheim. The hotel and restaurant look back on more than 50 years of history: in the 60s it was the Café du Village in Baldersheim, in the 80's it was embellished by the Landwerlin family and by the continuation of the Loeb family the restaurant is now a major culinary address in Alsace.
Watch out for the storks in the sky when you visit our restaurant in Baldersheim.
A classic choucroute (sauerkraut with side dishes), venison with homemade spaetzle and baked carp in the style of Sundgau are some of the specialties that you will find in our menu. Our dishes are accompanied by the well-known wines of the Alsace that are stored in our cellar: Riesling, Pinot Gris, Muscat and Pinot Blanc, to name but a few of the most important wines.
Our recommendation for a culinary journey of discovery is the goose liver with Gewürztraminergelee, a full of strong white wine - or the beef fillet on Spätburgunder with onion compote.
